Job summary

DealHub Ltd. in Cleveland, OH, is seeking a Controller / Chief Financial Officer to lead financial operations, drive risk management, and partner with the CEO on strategic transformation.

This hands-on role covers accounting, cash flow forecasting, banking relations, and administrative oversight within a growing construction business. You will close monthly books under US GAAP, manage WIP and job costing, and collaborate with estimators and project managers on bid strategy and margins.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a financial leadership role in construction/engineering.
• Deep knowledge of WIP schedules, POC accounting, and job costing.
• Experience managing financial operations and payroll.
• Experience with banking lines and surety bonding relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead accounting operations across job costing, AP, AR, billing, payroll, and GL.
• Direct monthly close, financial reporting, and WIP schedules under US GAAP.
• Manage banking facilities and surety bonding relationships.
• Partner with Estimators and PMs on bid strategy and project margins.
• Coordinate audits and tax filings; drive process improvements.
