Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL and DOT medical card.
• 2+ years of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Experience hauling construction materials or equipment is a plus.
• Familiarity with load securement and safe operating practices.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and assist with loading/unloading.
• Strong communication and time management skills.
• Willing to work long hours, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport materials and equipment.
• Load and unload trucks with proper methods to prevent shifting, damage, or injury.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safety and DOT compliance.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage reports, and trip documentation.
• Follow delivery schedules and GPS directions from dispatch or supervisors.
• Secure loads using chains, binders, tarps, or straps as needed.
• Comply with DOT, state, and federal transportation regulations.
• Assist crews with labor or site tasks when deliveries are complete.
• Report mechanical issues, delays, or safety concerns promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned vehicle.
