Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, SCM, Construction Management or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of construction processes, equipment, materials, and purchasing procedures.
• Strong negotiating, organizing, planning, verbal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking, business acumen and negotiation skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Strong organizational, planning and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing category strategies with internal stakeholders across engineering and operations.
• Manage relationships with key suppliers and monitor quality and delivery performance.
• Support pricing strategies for project proposals and conduct financial reviews with project data and forecasts.
• Aid in cost reduction through supplier negotiations and total cost of ownership analyses.
• Monitor market drivers such as raw materials pricing and supplier capacity.
• Forecast, report and manage recovery related to commodity inflation; lead and coach team members.
