Construction Carpenters (5 years of Experience Required)

*Guaranteed 40 Hours per week

Carpenter Qualifications:

• Valid Driver's License/acceptable driving record
• At least 5 years of proven, on-the-job residential carpentry and remodeling experience REQUIRED
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and an extensive criminal background check (No Felonies or Major Misdemeanors)
• Reside within a 30-mile radius of the Swartz office in Lima, OH
• The knowledge and skills to perform all aspects of residential carpentry processes.
• A strong working knowledge of carpentry principles, building materials, and construction processes from foundation to finish.
• Demonstrate a professional appearance and attitude
• Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment
• Flexibility to work overtime or on weekends in emergency situations
• Physical stamina to handle prolonged standing, bending, and lifting.

Carpenter Key Responsibilities/Duties:

• Perform carpentry duties effectively & efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining a high level of workmanship
• Perform multiple carpentry tasks: drywall (hanging & finishing), interior trim, tile, cabinetry installation, siding, window & door installation, framing, flooring, painting, light plumbing & electrical, etc.
• Follow the scope of work for the project, communicate any issues/changes to the project manager
• ON-CALL responsibilities 1 week per month to respond to after hours/weekend emergency calls
• Produce quality work which consistently meets the company's standards and expectations
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and follow the established safety rules.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
