Job summary

Healtheon, Inc. in Houston, TX seeks a Construction Carpenter to join our team. You will assemble parts to form a structural framework under supervisor guidance.

Carpenter

We are looking for a Construction Carpenter to join our team. Duties will include assembling parts to form a completed structural framework related to the construction project as directed by the supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Shooting Elevation
• Able to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to have a clear understanding of requirements.
• Knowledge of concrete finishing
• Communicating and coordinating with the equipment operators
• Experience with multiple forming systems, including ones that contain multiple pipe penetrations.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must have consistent and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift, carry and move up to 80lbs
• OSHA training is a plus
• Previous experience installing pipe and storm drain is a plus
• Must be familiar in working with power and hand tools
• Must be able to work in a team seating with other craft workers engaged in heavy construction activities
• Ability to work outdoors in extreme conditions, cold, heat, humidity, and frequently at heights and in excavations, able to work at various job sites and locations assigned, able to read a tape measure, and understand directions.
• Must have experience in industrial construction field, working outdoors in extreme weather conditions and understand simple directions. Must be devoted and reliable.
• Must be able to pass a background check on a federal facility.
• May be exposed to hazards associated with but not limited to dust, odors, fumes, noise, and vibration hazards.
