Job summary

Everus Construction Group, Inc. is hiring a BIM/CAD Coordinator to create and modify building elements in a virtual environment, primarily using Autodesk Revit.

You will coordinate with electrical detailers, prepare shop drawings, and manage document transmittals while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery on project sites.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in CAD or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5 years' experience in electrical construction industry, with knowledge of electrical symbols and drafting conventions and standards.
• Strong proficiency in Revit and coordination with design teams.

Responsibilities

• Model electrical systems based on markup drawings and verbal direction.
• Set up Revit views and sheets for shop drawings.
• Annotate and dimension shop drawings for field installation.
• Utilize Bluebeam Revu to markup PDFs and communicate with team.
• Prepare copies and assemble sets of documents for transmission to parties.
• Download drawings from Web, SharePoint, or project sites (FTP, BIM 360).
• Check own work for accuracy before forwarding to others.
• Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY

The BIM/CAD Coordinator is responsible for creating and modifying elements within a virtual environment using industry specific software applications. The primary software OEG uses to accomplish this task is Autodesk Revit.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• A working knowledge of computer aided drafting and software applications at a level normally acquired through completion of an associate's degree in computer aided design and drafting or related field or equivalent experience; and
• 5 years' experience in electrical construction industry, with knowledge of electrical symbols and electrical drafting conventions and standards.

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

• Experience in Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, AutoCad, Bluebeam Revu, Trimble, and MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and Excel).
• Ability to take verbal and general written direction well and turn that direction into appropriate, working shop drawings.
• Ability to manipulate Revit families, views, browser structure, sheets, schedules, filters, and similar Revit functions.
• Fluency in the 2D and 3D space.
• Understanding of 3D coordination with other trades.
• Ability to receive and transmit documents on behalf of the design team.
• Fluency with all plotters, printers and reproduction systems used in house or on the job site.
• Fluency for importing documents, such as spread sheets, photos, images, and word processing files into Revit projects.
• Self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player.
• Excellent human relations skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Download drawings and information from the Web, SharePoint, or project websites (FTP, BIM 360, etc.)
• Check own work for accuracy before passing on to others.
• Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

• Experience in the construction industry preferred.
• Experience in creating simple parametric families, utilizing shared parameters, creating schedules, and creating complex geometry preferred.
• Required to maintain a valid driver's license.
• Background check, credit check, MVR and drug screen may be required (will vary by position)
• Requires trave: Minimal (up to 10%)
