Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Construction BESS Superintendent for a 1-year contract assignment in Colorado. You will oversee field construction activities focusing on mechanical and electrical installation, QA/QC oversight, safety compliance, and EPC contractor coordination.

In this role you report to an onsite Construction Manager and coordinate daily activities among EPC contractors, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and project stakeholders through all construction phases.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience overseeing field construction activities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field construction activities to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with project specs, drawings, codes, and commissioning requirements.
• Serve as on-site primary field representative for construction execution and quality management, coordinating EPC contractors, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and stakeholders.

We are looking for a Construction BESS Superintendent on behalf of our client. This is a 1-year contract assignment. (W-2) You are responsible for overseeing field construction activities associated with utility-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects, with a primary focus on mechanical and electrical installation, QA/QC oversight, safety compliance, and EPC contractor coordination.

Responsibilities

• This role ensures all construction activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, engineering drawings, codes, standards, and commissioning requirements.
• The Superintendent reports to an onsite Construction Manager and serves as the primary field representative for construction execution and quality management, coordinating daily activities between EPC contractors, subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and project stakeholders throughout all phases of construction.
