Job summary

Bechtel seeks an Automation Engineer to provide construction automation support on US Gulf Coast LNG projects. You will install and maintain Unifier, Power Apps, and TEAMWorks, while integrating data across BSAPs and related Bechtel systems.

The role requires hands-on training and field support with a mobility expectation across units. The ideal candidate has experience with Unifier, Power Apps, TEAMWorks, and DSCS/EBS, plus strong database skills and excellent problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of engineering and construction processes typical for complex projects.
• Extensive experience with Unifier and linking to BSAPs and other apps.
• Extensive experience with Power Apps and linking to BSAPs.
• Extensive knowledge of TEAMWorks and related reporting tools.
• Experience with Bechtel standard apps including SETROUTE and DSCS/EBS.
• Strong understanding of Bechtel work processes and construction practices.
• Advanced database capabilities and problem-solving skills.
• Bechtel direct-hire construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and administer the Construction Automation application suite.
• Maintain Unifier and Power Apps workflows; coordinate automated data transfers.
• Define requirements for Construction Automation Systems to support work processes.
• Configure BSAPs and other apps to meet project needs.
• Design and configure reports; ensure accuracy and functionality.
• Provide end-user training and on-site support for field personnel.
• Collaborate with design, supply chain, controls, and other departments.
