Job summary

CLA is seeking an Experienced Audit Associate to join our Construction practice in California. You will perform a wide range of audit procedures, audit complex areas, prepare financial statements, and support client needs while helping the team resolve accounting challenges.

A bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is required, CPA exam eligibility is preferred, and one year of audit experience is desired. Exposure to tax work is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam (preferred).
• One year of relevant audit experience preferred.
• College graduate or demonstrated success as an entry-level accountant with an exposure to financial statement preparation, audits, and reviews.
• Exposure to tax work a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of audit and accounting procedures impacting industry-specific issues.
• Audit complex areas/transactions and prepare financial statements and related reports.
• Develop and train interns to help them build inspired careers.
• Work with many great clients to help them resolve complex issues and get results.
• Perform analytical reviews on financial accounts and identify trends.
