Overview

A reputable Tampa law firm is seeking an experienced Construction Litigation Attorney to join its growing team. This role offers the chance to work on complex, high-exposure cases while representing contractors, developers, engineers, and insurers throughout Florida.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in construction litigation, defect defense, or related commercial litigation
  • Strong knowledge of Florida construction law, Chapter 558, and defect liability issues
  • Skilled in drafting pleadings, discovery, dispositive motions, and handling depositions and mediations
  • Licensed and in good standing with the Florida Bar
Responsibilities
  • Represent contractors, subcontractors, and design professionals in litigation involving construction defects, delay claims, and breach of contract matters
  • Manage cases from pre-suit through trial preparation and resolution
  • Analyze contracts, indemnity clauses, and insurance coverage issues to assess risk and strategy
  • Collaborate closely with clients, experts, and firm leadership on case strategy and client development
