Job summary

The Superior Group is seeking a Construction Assistant Project Manager Intern for Spring 2027 in Columbus, Ohio. This internship provides exposure to on-site construction management, drawing/documentation tasks, and cross-functional coordination on active projects.

Interns will participate in site visits, learn contracting, scheduling, estimating, bidding, and contract administration under the Project Operations team.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in an accredited college or university pursuing a degree in Construction Systems Management or related field

Responsibilities

• Support project documentation including construction drawings, requests for information, submittals, and meeting minutes
• Document weekly project owner’s meetings and decisions
• Post drawings and specifications with most recent information
• Assist the Project Operations team with site safety documentation and coordination
• Assist in the management of project permit processes
• Help maintain and distribute project schedule
• Assist the Project Operations team with closeout of project, including generation of project punch list and documentation
• Collaborate and demonstrate teamwork in a project setting

Education

Currently enrolled in Construction Systems Management or related field

Position: Construction Assistant Project Manager Intern

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour

Superior is looking for highly motivated and energetic students to participate in our internship program during the Spring term (January - April). In addition to your day-to-day responsibilities, we provide our interns with lunch-and-learns, leadership training, career prep, unique jobsite visits, and beyond.

Under the guidance of our Project Operations team, the Assistant Project Manager Intern will gain exposure to our jobsites and how we keep our projects moving forward, including contracting, scheduling, estimating, bidding, and contract administration. This role is based on a jobsite.

Key Responsibilities
