Job description

We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Construction Assistant to support the renovation and rehabilitation of residential investment properties. This role combines project coordination, property maintenance, and hands-on repair work. The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, highly organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working in both office and field environments.

Project Coordination

Assist with the coordination, and execution of residential renovation projects.

Monitor project timelines and help ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget.

Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety.

Communicate project updates to management and identify potential delays or issues.

Property Maintenance & Repairs

Perform a variety of handyman-type tasks, including basic repairs, maintenance, troubleshooting, and punch‑list items.

Assist with minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall, flooring, and general property maintenance.

Identify maintenance issues and recommend cost‑effective solutions.

Ensure properties are clean, secure, and ready for contractors, inspections, or sale.

Fluent in both English and Spanish (spoken and written).

Experience in residential construction, remodeling, home renovation, property maintenance, or a related field.

Strong handyman skills and ability to perform a wide variety of repair and maintenance tasks.

Excellent organizational and time‑management skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with contractors, vendors, and property owners.

Self‑motivated with the ability to work independently and solve problems proactively.

Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with multiple active projects.

Mobility Requirements

Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Must be willing and able to travel between multiple job sites throughout the day.

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical work as needed.

Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with residential home flipping or real estate investment projects.

Basic understanding of construction estimating and budgeting.
