Job summary

Suffolk Construction in Boston is seeking an AI Studio Engineer to build scalable AI agents for construction management. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Site AI Engineers and Data Engineers to deploy secure, high-performance AI solutions on AWS Bedrock and Databricks, accelerating workflows and automating reporting and lookahead planning.

Qualifications

4–6 years of software development with AWS, 2+ years in AI/ML.
Strong coding in Python; experience with Databricks and vector databases.
Bachelor’s in CS/Engineering/Physics; Master’s preferred.
Hands-on with production systems on AWS and CI/CD/IaC.

Responsibilities

Translate product requirements into production AI solutions on Bedrock, Lambda, ECS/EKS and Databricks.
Implement RAG pipelines with Delta tables, Unity Catalog and Vector Search.
Design and deploy multi-model agents based on context, cost and latency.
Create multi-agent orchestration frameworks for collaboration among agents.
Own full lifecycle: design, develop, test, deploy, monitor, maintain.
Build APIs and backend services with Python, FastAPI, LangChain, AWS SDKs.
Develop front-end integrations for Teams and web SPAs via REST/GraphQL.
Partner with Data Engineering to design robust ETL/ELT pipelines to the Databricks Lakehouse.
Ensure low-latency data access, caching and vectorization.
Apply Terraform, AWS CDK and GitHub Actions to automate infra; enforce security.
