Lessard Design Inc. seeks a Construction Administrator to oversee conformity of construction to drawings and specs in midrise and high-rise residential projects.

The role involves site observation, issue resolution with in-house teams, and supporting the owner’s construction administration manager. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in Architecture Engineering or equivalent, plus 5+ years in construction administration and proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction administration or related field.
• Experience with residential midrise and high-rise building types.
• Travel is required for this position, roughly 30-40%.

Responsibilities

• Ensure construction conforms to construction documents.
• Support the design intent.
• Identify and resolve construction problems early.
• Supplement the client's construction knowledge.
• Establish lines of communication.
• Respond to contractor's requests for information.
• Shop drawing review.
• Track changes in construction documents.
• Review contractor's payments.
• Review shop drawings and product information.
• Prepare field reports and records.
• Supervise completion and closeout.
• Peer review of DD/CDs and specifications as needed.
