Job summary

AEB Strategic Talent is seeking two Construction Contract Administrators for a large award-winning design firm in Dallas. Healthcare project experience is required, with 10+ years of experience and professional architectural licensure, and proficiency in Revit for real-time changes.

You will support project managers, review submittals, respond to RFIs, prepare CCDs and addenda, and conduct on-site field reports while ensuring contract and code compliance across construction sites.

Large Award-Winning Design Firm in Dallas searching for 2 Construction Contract Administrators- Healthcare experience required

About the Role

10+ years of experience and Professional Architectural Licensure required. Must be fluent enough in Revit to make changes in real-time.

Responsibilities

• Assists project managers and communicates updates
• Receives, reviews, approves, returns, and tracks submittals, including coordination with technical consultants and engineers to ensure that the contract document requirements and the owner-architect contract obligations are met throughout construction.
• Responds to contractor requests for information (RFI's).
• Assists in the preparation of changes to be issued in the form of Construction Change Directives (CCD's), Sketches, Addenda and Bulletins.
• Conducts on-site evaluations as construction progresses, authors and issues field reports in a timely manner, reviews contractors' pay applications and examines and understands project specifications and construction documents.
• Enforces quality control measures that ensure compliance with contracts, building, and code requirements.
• Travels and/or works remotely from construction sites or projects.
• Able to work cooperatively with project teams, including but not limited to owners, engineers, and contractors.
• Performs punch list site visits; authors and issues final report(s), including an understanding of what constitutes substantial and final completion dates for projects.
• Reviews and/or assembles project closeout documents including as-builts, product and equipment maintenance manuals, warranties, and contractor contact information.
