Job summary

Gollob Morgan Peddy Inc is seeking an experienced Director, Accounting & Advisory - Construction to lead the GMP Advisors Construction division. You will deliver outsourced CFO and controller-level services while guiding staff accountants in revenue accounting and financial reporting for clients.

The role emphasizes business development, client relationship growth, and collaboration with GMP’s executive leadership to expand the construction advisory service line.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• Master’s degree and/or CMA or CPA designation preferred.
• Strong understanding of Construction sector accounting practices (Job costing, AIA billing, subcontractor billing & collections, project cash flow).
• Experience with QuickBooks, Procore, Spectrum/Viewpoint, Sage.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted advisor on financial performance, cash flow, and operational strategy.
• Provide outsourced CFO‑level advisory services to Construction clients, including forecasting and strategic recommendations.
• Lead monthly close and prep/review financial statements.
• Supervise and mentor accounting team members; ensure GAAP compliance.
