Responsibilities
- Manage construction work assignments across all lines of business, including large multi-location accounts
- Evaluate insured exposures and provide recommendations to improve account conditions and reduce financial risk
- Develop detailed service plans and provide consultative recommendations to clients
- Communicate the status of service plans and their impact on the insured’s insurance coverage
- Conduct client site surveys and deliver presentations to insured accounts, agents, and brokers
Qualifications
- Minimum of eight years of experience in construction safety management or construction risk engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health or related field preferred
- Knowledge of OSHA 1926 standards and various construction processes
- Strong analytical skills for formulating strategic risk management service plans
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both field workers and executive management
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS)
- Experience in analyzing claim and incident trends for improvement opportunities
- Ability to assess a construction company’s safety culture and develop service plans to address gaps
- Familiarity with advancing technologies in the construction field
- Strong technical writing skills for developing professional reports and communication
