The Constructability Manager - Data Centers will lead field coordination and oversee electrical installations on a mission-critical data center construction project. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical systems, construction methodologies, and familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools to ensure accurate and efficient project execution.

The Electrical Superintendent will serve as the lead liaison between field operations, BIM design, and project stakeholders—translating design intent into high-quality, constructible installations. The role is site-based and requires proactive communication, strong leadership, and technical competence.

Responsibilities:

• Fully understand project requirements, construction drawings, and specifications, including installation methods and sequencing.
• Lead the integration of the BIM model with field installation efforts, ensuring constructability and alignment with design intent.
• Collaborate with project supervision and the design team to maintain model accuracy, issue installation drawings, and document as-built conditions.
• Perform constructability reviews and apply working knowledge of electrical and mechanical installation practices.
• Coordinate closely with engineering teams, vendors, and subcontractors to define scope, solve installation issues, and develop efficient work plans.
• Facilitate communication between the design team, contractors, suppliers, and clients to quickly resolve issues and ensure alignment.
• Maintain up-to-date project documentation, including design drawings, shop drawings, O&M manuals, and as-builts.
• Act as the main point of contact for all aspects of design coordination on-site.
• Prepare and submit daily logs, weekly and monthly progress reports, and escalate issues to management as needed.
• Ensure all site work adheres to safety, quality, and scheduling goals.

Qualifications:

• Data center construction experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• 7+ years of electrical field experience required; Master or Journeyman Electrician certification preferred.
• Prior experience as an Electrical Superintendent on data center or large-scale industrial projects is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of 3D modeling and BIM processes (this is a coordination role – no direct modeling required).
• Proficient with construction software tools such as Bluebeam, Procore, BIM 360, CX Alloy, MS Project, and Primavera P6.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Must pass a post-offer background check and MVR screening.
