Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a Constant Companion to support patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse, focusing on supervision and direct observation within the Patient Care Team.

Ideal candidates have a high school equivalent and some experience with patients or in a health-related field; BCLS is preferred. Pay ranges from $18.00 to $24.23 per hour, with eligibility for shift differentials and overtime as applicable.

The primary responsibility will be focused on individual supervision and providing direct observation of a patient. The Constant Companion must demonstrate the ability and willingness to participate in a Patient Care Team as a caregiver responsible for quality of own work and remain flexible in response to change. Functioning under the direction of a Registered Nurse and Nurse Manager.

Education/Experience:

Pay Range

$18.00 - $24.23

The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. Actual compensation is determined based on several factors, that may include seniority, education, training, relevant experience, relevant certifications, geography of work location, job responsibilities, or other applicable factors permissible by law. Compensation may exceed the base hourly rate depending on shift differentials, call pay, premium pay, overtime pay, and other additional pay practices, as applicable to the position and in accordance with the law.
