Beth Israel Lahey Health in Massachusetts is hiring a Clinical Associate & Admin Associate to support nursing staff with basic care activities, monitor patients’ conditions, and help ensure safety and comfort. You will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse performing technical, therapeutic, and administrative tasks.
The role includes taking vital signs, documenting measurements, assisting with daily activities, collecting specimens, and coordinating with physicians.

The Clinical Assoc & Admin Assoc will provide basic care activities and provide personal needs, comfort and safety of your patient. The Clinical Assoc & Admin Assoc assists with the delivery of patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse. The primary responsibility will be focus on performing technical, therapeutic, administrative tasks and procedures for which they have been trained. The Clinical Assoc & Admin Assoc must demonstrate the ability and willingness to participate in a patient care team as a multi-skilled caregiver responsible for quality of own work and remain flexible in response to change.

The Administrative Associate performs a variety of computer, clerical, and supply functions necessary for the operation of the nursing unit. Responsibilities include handling and controlling written and verbal communications between nursing unit, personnel and numerous physicians, ancillary services, patients, visitors and families, and the organization of the patient medical record.
Education/Experience :
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Ability to read/write and perform basic 4 function math
Desire to help people and/or have aspirations of becoming a healthcare professional
Basic computer skills (preferred)
Medical terminology (preferred)
Basic Life Support certification (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.
Certification/License: CNA Certification preferred but not required upon hire

Pay Range:
$21.50 - $28.94
The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time.
