Job description

Primary Talent Partners has a Console Operator I role open in Charlotte, NC. We are seeking individuals eager to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a long-term contract role with three shifts covering a 24x7 environment at a large company in Charlotte.

Contract - W2
Pay rate - $20 per hour

Shift flexibility is required. Training will be conducted during 1st shift hours.

Schedule:
  1. 1st shift - 6am - 2pm
  2. 2nd shift - 2pm - 10pm
  3. 3rd shift - 10pm - 6am

Workdays may include Mon-Fri, Tue-Sat, or Wed-Sun.

Job Overview:

We are looking for Enterprise Security Command Center (ESCC) Console Operators to provide security services across the company. Responsibilities include monitoring electronic security systems such as alarm panels, intrusion detection, video cameras, badge verification, and access control. Additional duties involve managing gate access, responding to high call volumes, maintaining situational awareness, and other tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED with experience in a Security Operations Center, dispatching, law enforcement, or technical support with physical access control systems like AMAG Symmetry.
  • Preferred: relevant college degree (Criminal Justice, Criminology) and 1-3 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills and MS Office.
  • Willingness to work rotating/flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
  • Dependability, calmness under stress, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
  • Monitor alarms and respond appropriately to ensure safety of personnel and property.
  • Maintain accurate event logs, generate reports, and conduct investigations including video review and interviews.
  • Perform administrative tasks and utilize communication tools for incident management.
