About Live Wildly Foundation

Live Wildly Foundation works to balance the economy and ecology in the state of Florida by advancing conservation of the Florida Wildlife Corridor. Our vision is a permanently connected Florida Wildlife Corridor where conserved lands protect water quality, wildlife, agricultural economies, and community resilience — preserved as a generational legacy.

Position Overview

Live Wildly Foundation is seeking a strategic, highly organized, and relationship-driven Conservation & Outreach Manager to implement and help advance conservation initiatives across Florida.

This is a high-impact, statewide-facing role that integrates:

  • Conservation program support and outreach
  • Relationship-building with county leaders and landowners
  • Event execution and field operations
  • Public engagement and representation
  • Communications coordination and storytelling support

The Manager will serve as a key connector between on-the-ground conservation efforts, local government engagement, landowner outreach, and external communications. This individual must be equally comfortable in a county commission meeting, a landowner visit, a policy conference, or managing logistics behind the scenes to ensure strong execution.

This position is remote in Florida, but preference will be given to candidates based in the Tampa Bay region.

Core Responsibilities
  1. Conservation Strategy & Outreach Implementation
    • Support advancement of county-level conservation programs and local conservation funding initiatives
    • Build and maintain relationships with county officials, commissioners, landowners, agricultural stakeholders, and conservation partners
    • Support and participate in landowner outreach across priority regions of the Florida Wildlife Corridor
    • Coordinate and attend meetings that advance conservation opportunities and partnerships
    • Conduct follow-up communications and help move conservation priorities forward
    • Track engagement activity, conservation opportunities, and key stakeholder relationships
  2. Event Representation & Public Engagement
    • Represent Live Wildly at conferences, convenings, and public engagement opportunities statewide
    • Lead and staff tabling activations, ensuring clear, compelling communication of Live Wildly’s mission and initiatives
    • Support speaking engagements, policy events, and strategic gatherings
    • Serve as a professional and credible ambassador for the organization
  3. Field Operations & Asset Management
    • Lead event logistics from planning through execution and breakdown
    • Retrieve and manage materials stored in Live Wildly’s Tampa storage unit
    • Coordinate transportation or shipping of event assets
    • Set up and break down displays, signage, and activation materials
    • Maintain organized inventory and proactively manage asset condition and replenishment
  4. Communications & Contractor Coordination
    • Serve as the primary liaison to newsletter, social media, and digital communications contractors
    • Assist with and coordinate content development timelines, approvals, and deliverables
    • Translate field activity, conservation milestones, and outreach efforts into clear communications inputs
    • Maintain a communications calendar aligned with conservation initiatives and key events
    • Ensure consistency in messaging, tone, and brand across platforms
    • Track basic performance metrics and support reporting needs
  5. Statewide Travel & Field Coordination
    • Travel extensively throughout Florida for meetings, landowner engagement, events, and county outreach
    • Must be able to rent and operate an oversized vehicle (e.g., cargo van or large SUV) when required for event transport
    • Coordinate travel logistics and scheduling in collaboration with leadership
