Qualifications

• Good knowledge of economic conditions and credit aspects used to evaluate creditworthiness of loan applicants.
• GAAP and auditing standards used in administering loan programs.
• Knowledge of state and federal financial services regulatory laws.
• Clear and effective oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Establish strategic plan and evaluate policy for loan programs.
• Set goals, procedures, and assist with rules for loan programs.
• Manage current financial conditions, develop program budget and resource needs.
• Provide summaries and program status to senior management and other agencies.
• Review applications to ensure conformance with loan program regulations and legal requirements.
• Prepare and approve loan documents and payment schedules.
• Monitor loan payments and perform audits of recipients and funds.
• Assist potential loan applicants and loan recipients.
