Job summary

The NC Dept of Agriculture and Consumer Services – Farmland Preservation is seeking a temporary Program Coordinator I (S) in Raleigh, NC to review, evaluate, and approve appraisals, surveys, and related documents for conservation grants.

You will lead outreach, provide training to partnership stakeholders, and serve as an advisor to leadership on program matters related to farm and agricultural initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Review, evaluate, and approve appraisals, surveys, baseline documentation reports, environmental assessments, and land management documents for grants.
• Conduct outreach, communications, and training for conservation easement partners on procedures and processes.
• Advise NCDA&CS leadership on technical and programmatic farm and agricultural programs used by partners.
