White Oak Conservation in Florida is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on residential and light commercial electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems across our 600-acre property. The Technician will assist with appliance repair for kitchen, laundry, refrigeration, HVAC maintenance, and will conduct weekly rounds to report issues to the Facilities Manager.

The role requires 3–5 years of general maintenance or handyman work, with journeyman

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of general maintenance, construction, or handyman work.
• Journeyman electrical and plumbing certifications preferred.
• Ability to read labels, safety warnings and adhere to guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Troubleshoot, repair, and install as needed.
• Inspect for safety hazards and maintenance needs.
• Schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance on building systems.
• Maintain lighting, electrical, and plumbing systems inside and outside facilities.
• Provide maintenance reports to the Facilities Manager and suggest actions.
• Repair and maintain sewage systems and kitchen appliances.
• Assist with HVAC preventive maintenance and other equipment.
• Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
• Document work orders and progress using digital tracking app.
