Job summary

WisCorps is hiring two AmeriCorps Communications Members to tell stories that showcase the impact of AmeriCorps service. Join a team under Central Conservation to manage social media, photography, video, writing, and digital campaigns.

Two positions—one with The Nature Place and one with WisCorps—offer a 1,700-hour, full-time term with a generous stipend and an education award, plus other AmeriCorps benefits and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Ability to create engaging social media content and campaigns.
• Experience with photography, videography, journalism, marketing, public relations, or graphic design.

Responsibilities

• Capture photography and video of programs, events, service projects, and AmeriCorps members.
• Create engaging social media posts, Reels, blogs, and member spotlights.
• Plan and manage social media content calendars.
• Assist with communication strategy and campaign planning.
• Update website content using Wordpress and contribute to newsletters through Mailchimp.
• Promote AmeriCorps service opportunities through digital storytelling.
• Collaborate with staff to develop creative communications that support organizational goals.
