The role involves shaping program priorities, building coalitions, organizing events, recruiting volunteers, earning media attention, and advocating to decision-makers. Location options include Manchester or Concord, NH, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant advocacy/organizing experience.
• Advanced degrees may count toward experience.
• Excellent writing and public speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Help shape program priorities through policy development, research and messaging.
• Build coalitions across organizations and constituencies.
• Organize webinars, community events and public meetings.
• Recruit and work with volunteers to maximize impact.
• Earn traditional and social media attention for campaigns.
• Advocate to decision-makers through lobbying, testimony and written materials.
• Grow the team by identifying and recruiting candidates and training staff.
