Paycom - ATS is hiring a Corrections Education Counselor in Shirley, MA to ensure inmates receive the approved curriculum and to document progress in case records.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or 2 years of related experience in criminal justice, social services, or education, plus DOC experience or alcoholism/drug addiction certification. Position may require hours beyond 40 per week, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree, or 2 years of related experience in criminal justice, social services, education or a closely related field
• Experience with the Department of Corrections (DOC) and/or certification in alcoholism and drug addiction

Responsabilités

• Ensure all inmates receive the education outlined in the curriculum assigned and approved by the Department of Corrections, with written documentation in case files.
• Participate in weekly multidisciplinary team meetings or as directed.
• Work the hours necessary to meet organizational needs, including possible night and weekend programs.
