Job summary

Ford is seeking a Feature Systems Engineer to own the modem data protection function and the vehicle's connection to the FordPass app, including modem activation. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or computer science, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years in automotive or similar with highly complex electrical software systems.
• Minimum 1 year experience with infotainment and embedded systems architecture.

Responsibilities

• Own global core project responsibility for the modem data protection function (Customer Connectivity Settings) and vehicle-to-FordPass app connectivity, including modem activation (FordPass Authorization).
• Lead the integration of embedded systems with cloud-based services and infrastructure, ensuring secure and scalable solutions.
• Prepare clear feasibility studies and use findings to shape corporate strategy.
