Job summary

Legacy Professional Services is seeking an MEP Engineer (Connectivity) to support coordination, installation, integration, testing, and turnover of structured cabling, fiber optic, and low-voltage systems on hyperscale data center projects. You will work with MEP leadership, PMs, QA/QC, commissioning, IT, design teams, and contractors to ensure proper interfaces across building systems.

The role requires reviewing technical docs, coordinating interfaces, and ensuring compliance with industry

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
3+ years supporting connectivity, low-voltage, telecom or network infrastructure in commercial construction.
Knowledge of TIA/EIA standards, BICSI best practices, and cabling installation requirements.
Ability to read MEP and connectivity drawings, specifications, and docs.
Experience coordinating fiber testing, copper certification, OTDR testing.

Responsibilities

Support installation, integration, and deployment of connectivity systems for hyperscale data center projects.
Coordinate connectivity scopes with MEP systems to ensure interfaces and sequencing.
Review drawings, diagrams, specs, submittals, and coordination drawings for installation requirements.
Coordinate pathways, cable trays, sleeves, penetrations, and spaces between connectivity and MEP systems.
Coordinate testing and commissioning activities and document results.
