As an engineer on our team, you will understand AWS network requirements, devise fiber connectivity solutions, influence industry practices, and develop tools with sister teams to maintain a highly available network that delights customers. You will bridge design, construction, and operations, ensuring that every layer of physical networking meets high standards of performance, reliability, and scalability.
Within AWS Networking, the Network Product Development (NPD) organization designs the network fiber connectivity plans and owns implementation that powers the global AWS network. We manage fiber infrastructure that grows by 70% annually, tracking key business and operational metrics to minimize any customer impact.
Salary ranges:
• USA, CA, Cupertino – 157,300.00 – 212,800.00 USD annually
• USA, TX, Austin – 136,000.00 – 184,000.00 USD annually
• USA, VA, Herndon – 136,000.00 – 184,000.00 USD annually
