Job summary

Achievement First Network Support in Connecticut is seeking dedicated teachers for the 2026-27 school year. You will deliver high-quality instruction, build a positive classroom culture, and partner with families to support student growth while using interim assessment data to guide instruction.

Applicants should hold a Connecticut certification, a Bachelor’s degree (GPA 3.0+), and ideally a Master’s in education; two years teaching experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience working with K-12 students; two years teaching experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree with a GPA of at least 3.0; Master’s degree preferred.
• Connecticut certification or in process of obtaining certification.
• Certification: 165 Comprehensive Special Education, PreK–12.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive, achievement-oriented and structured learning environment aligned with AF standards.
• Collaborate with families to support student academic and personal growth.
• Use data from interim assessments to guide instruction and interventions.
• Implement unit and lesson plans with the grade or subject team.
• Model AF core values in interactions with students, families, and colleagues.
