Job summary

LOGISNEXT AMERICAS INC. in Houston, TX is seeking a seasoned Electrical Systems Engineer to own the integration of advanced technologies in our forklift portfolio.

You will define roadmaps, lead cross-functional teams, and coordinate with suppliers to ensure robust, scalable connected solutions featuring telematics, LiDAR, AI cameras, and UWB. The role requires 7+ years in OEM electrical engineering, strong PLM experience, and a track record of delivering from concept to end-of-life while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, or related field).
• 7+ years in electrical systems engineering in an OEM environment.
• Product lifecycle management experience from concept to end-of-life.
• Proficiency with PLM software such as Teamcenter and Windchill.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Define product vision, roadmap, and technical specs for connected forklift solutions.
• Manage end-to-end release process, BOM accuracy, and production readiness.
• Lead integration of telematics, LiDAR, AI cameras, and UWB into forklifts.
• Serve as primary technical contact for tier-1 suppliers and RFQ management.
• Lead system-level validation and prototype build activities.
• Track and resolve electrical system issues to improve reliability.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Define product vision, roadmap, and technical specifications for connected solutions.
• Manage the end-to-end release process, including BOM accuracy and production readiness.
• Lead integration of telematics, LiDAR, AI cameras, and UWB into forklift systems.
• Act as the primary technical contact for tier-1 suppliers and manage RFQs.
• Lead system-level validation and support prototype build activities.
• Track and resolve electrical system issues to improve efficiency and robustness.
• Provide mentorship to junior engineers and identify process improvement opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Systems, or related field).
