Job summary

Krypton Solutions LLC is seeking a Conformal Coating Operator in Plano, Texas, to prepare, coat, and inspect PCB assemblies with precision. The role requires experience with conformal coatings, masking, and equipment operation, plus knowledge of IPC‑A‑610 and J‑STD‑001.

Onsite position with comprehensive benefits and room for growth. The successful candidate will read and follow English process documents, handle masking tasks, and ensure coating quality through UV inspection and thickness

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in conformal coating, staking, or encapsulation.
• Familiarity with IPC‑A‑610 and J‑STD‑001 requirements.
• Ability to use hand tools, UV inspection lamps and masking materials.
• Experience reading process documents in English.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or medical electronics manufacturing.
• IPC‑A‑610 or J‑STD‑001 certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and setup coating equipment per specifications.
• Apply conformal coatings to PCB assemblies using automated or manual methods.
• Perform underfill, staking and encapsulation with epoxies, silicones or other approved materials.
• Follow masking and demasking procedures to protect keep‑out areas.
• Set up, operate and maintain coating equipment, including basic dispense patterns.
• Inspect coated assemblies for coverage, thickness and defects using UV light and gauges.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of workstations and tools.

Make a difference as a Conformal Coating Operator

As a Conformal Coating Operator at Krypton Solutions, your daily responsibilities will include preparing and setting up coating equipment according to specifications. You will apply conformal coatings to electronic components, ensuring uniform coverage and adherence to quality standards. Your responsibilities will also include:

• Applying conformal coating materials to printed circuit board assemblies using automated and/or manual methods.

• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to work under magnification.
• Able to read and follow written work instructions and process documents in English.
• Experience in aerospace, defense, or medical electronics manufacturing.
• Certification in IPC‑A‑610 or J‑STD‑001.
• Experience operating automated conformal coating systems.
