Job summary

Global Powerhouse in California seeks two Conflicts Analysts to support a busy law firm team. You will handle ethical and business conflicts checks for clients and matters, including stock purchases, review billing rates, and manage opening/closing processes electronically.

You will collaborate with attorneys to resolve conflicts promptly and maintain up-to-date conflict records. The role offers remote scheduling with onsite elements as needed, focusing on accurate data management and engagement

• Maintain accurate tracking records and complete conflicts review projects timely
• Manage conflicts database and update as necessary
• Maintain file of signed engagement letters

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform complete Ethical and Business Conflicts process for client/matters and stock purchases. This includes, but not limited to, running conflicts, entering in systems, adding info to and running reports, correspondence to firm, reviewing billing guidelines and new matter compliance.
• Review and enter billing rates for new client/matters
• Handle client/matter opening and closing process electronically
• Work closely with attorneys and other staff to facilitate the prompt resolution of identified conflicts
• Maintains accurate tracking records and completes all conflicts review projects undertaken within the Firm in a timely fashion
• Manage conflicts database and update as necessary
• Maintain file of signed engagement letters
