Base pay range

$65,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr

Location: REMOTE, MA ONLY

Pay: $65,000 - $95,000

Position: Conflicts Analyst

In this role, the Conflicts Assistant will:

  1. Independently conduct thorough research of corporations, agencies, and individuals listed as incoming parties to client/matters or submitted with preliminary conflicts checks;
  2. Analyze and evaluate research results and conflicts reports to determine potential conflicts of interest;
  3. Inform attorneys and administrative staff about conflicts and propose steps to resolve them; consult with management on complex conflicts, possibly involving the Professional Responsibility Committee or the Office of General Counsel;
  4. Update the conflicts database with corporate hierarchies and family trees;
  5. Research mergers, acquisitions, and bankruptcies using business reference sources and record findings;
  6. Address 'thrust-upon' conflicts and propose resolutions in consultation with relevant committees or offices;
  7. Process requests such as close, reopen, client, matter, and contact changes;
  8. Work overtime as needed; and
  9. Handle additional research and analysis projects as assigned.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree (strongly preferred);
  • At least 2 years of research or conflicts-related experience (required).
