Truspoint.One has an immediate opening for a Conflicts Analyst to support a busy legal team in managing conflict clearance for new matters, lateral hires, and other intake processes for an Am Law 100 client. This is a contract role expected to last 6 months, with the potential for extension. The position involves identifying, analyzing, and helping resolve conflicts using independent judgment and strong research skills. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and comfortable interacting with attorneys and staff at all levels. While this role is remote, candidates must reside in one of the following metro locations: Boston, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, New York, Palo Alto, Reston, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, Washington DC.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and process conflict requests to ensure engagements and hires are ethically and commercially clear
• Prepare search terms and generate conflict reports, including bulk and high-volume requests
• Conduct corporate research to confirm party identities and flag potential issues
• Review and interpret conflict reports and supporting documents to identify possible concerns
• Summarize potential conflict landscapes and communicate findings to attorneys and staff
• Liaise with attorneys and firm personnel to investigate and resolve potential issues
• Maintain detailed records of conflict resolutions and submit waiver requests as needed
• Draft conflict waivers, engagement letters, and ethical screens when required
• Stay informed on legal trends and conduct legal ethics research as needed
• Provide training on conflicts procedures to legal staff
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements:

• 2+ years of direct conflicts research and clearance experience a law firm environment
• Strong analytical, research, and communication skills
• Proficient in interpreting complex data and summarizing key findings clearly
• Paralegal Certificate or ethics coursework (preferred)
• Experience with Intapp (preferred)
