One of our clients, a premier global law firm in DC, seeks to hire two Conflicts Analysts for their growing team of 24. The group is led by one of the most influential managers in big law and offers an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic team.

Positions: Conflicts Analyst (2)

Law Firm: Top 10 Midsize Firm

Location: Washington DC

Onsite Schedule: Remote

Target Salary: $75,000 - $95,000, with 2+ years of experience; OT and Bonus as additional compensation

Job Description:

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive Ethical and Business Conflicts processes for clients and matters, including stock purchases. This involves running conflicts checks, entering data into systems, generating reports, correspondence, reviewing billing guidelines, and ensuring new matter compliance.
  • Review and input billing rates for new clients and matters; the Senior Analyst will manage annual updates.
  • Handle electronic client/matter opening and closing procedures.
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys and staff to resolve conflicts promptly.
  • Maintain accurate tracking records and complete conflicts review projects efficiently.
  • Manage and update the conflicts database as needed.
  • Maintain a file of signed engagement letters.
  • Senior Analyst only: Provide training and mentorship to new employees and handle complex projects assigned by the BCM or designee.
