Job summary

IPTA is seeking a Configuration Management professional to support Army Aviation and Missile Center initiatives at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline and an active security clearance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in an IT-related technical discipline.
Active Security Clearance required.
3+ years enterprise-level IT configuration management experience.
On site at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to articulate complex ideas to senior leaders.
Demonstrated ability to assess customer needs and propose solutions.

Responsibilities

Plan and manage configuration management tasks and collaborate with engineering teams.
Analyze, update, and maintain technical baselines for IT services/systems.
Implement and maintain CM solutions and processes.
Educate team members on CM policies and procedures.
Coordinate CM activities for projects and track change requests from submission through implementation.
Identify and track Configuration Items and maintain CMDB data.
Support System Engineering Team and IA groups as needed.
Provide CM input/content as requested.
