Job summary

Columbia Technology Partners seeks a Configuration Manager to implement and maintain CM and version control across hardware and software systems throughout the lifecycle. You will ensure configuration integrity, traceability, and control by managing baselines and supporting audits and change control activities.

The role requires experience with CM tools, establishment of baselines, and collaboration with build and release teams to keep configurations consistent and auditable across all phases.

Qualifications

• Six years of CM and version control experience on complex programs.
• Bachelor's degree or four additional years of CM experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience implementing hardware/software configuration baselines and version control.
• One year of experience with Git/SVN or equivalent in development programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and enforce hardware and software CM policies and procedures.
• Establish and control configuration baselines with traceability of CIs.
• Oversee end-to-end configuration control including change tracking and audits.
• Utilize CM tools to store, track, and manage configuration artifacts.
• Support build, integration, test, and release environments while maintaining integrity.
• Document CM processes and automated build/release procedures.
• Conduct configuration audits and support Change Control Board activities.
