Job summary

Resource Management Concepts, Inc. (RMC) is seeking a Configuration Manager to support government and commercial sectors at Hill AFB in Ogden, Utah. This on-site, full-time role requires managing configuration/change processes, baselines, and audits in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate will coordinate with external and internal teams, maintain CM plans, and support software license management while ensuring compliance with USAF guidance. A DoD Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Windows Operating Systems.
• Knowledge of PC hardware and mobile devices.
• Ability to work independently with occasional supervision.

• Ability to effectively analyze, research and solve problems.
• Ability to gather data, create, compose, and edit written materials and reports.
• Ability to develop and maintain recordkeeping systems and procedures.
• Familiarity with software collaboration tools (JIRA, SharePoint).

Responsibilities

• Review and update CM plans periodically in accordance with USAF guidance.
• Participate in reviews, meetings, working groups and planning meetings.
• Assist in authoring internal processes to ensure consistent change management.
• Update and maintain configuration baselines across the network and associated workstations.
• Assist with Software License Management for all non-enterprise software licenses under the SLM purview.
• Document and track on-going projects between external and internal teams and organizations.
• Assist with reviewing program-unique specifications to include system, development, and product specifications for hardware and software, ensuring proper format, content, and compliance.

RMC is hiringa Configuration Manager to support our customer at Hill AFB in Ogden, Utah. This full-time, on-site position at Hill AFB, UT, is contingent upon contract award or position availability.

The selected applicant will assist the government in providing configuration/change management and identify, organize, and control software and hardware configuration changes. The contractor shall assist in managing and coordinating processes for version management, system build, backup and recovery, archiving, and change management. The contractor shall support and facilitate auditing, reporting, ticket and project statuses. The contractor shall be a key member in the CCB and associated projects.

Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current salary range for this position will be $75,000 to $95,000 (annually).
