Job summary

• Establish/manage the Configuration Change Board (CCB) for hardware and software.
• Review SOW/DID language for CM accuracy and tailoring.
• Ensure contractor/vendor CM plans meet contract requirements.
• Coordinate with Data Management, Safety, QM/QA/QE and Product Teams.

IronMountain Solutions, Inc. is seeking a highly qualifiedConfiguration Manager (CM) in the Huntsville, AL area supporting the UHPO program office within PEO AVN. Job duties include but are not limited to: review and management of vendor drawings, models, and associated lists, review and boarding of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), receipt, review and disposition of CM related CDRL (Contract Data Requirements Listing) data, planning and conducting Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs), and review of CM related CDRL requirements and SOW (Statement of Work) language on new or modified contracts. An ideal candidate will be team oriented and will be able to meet challenging deadlines.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work with the Engineers to create and review ECPs.
• Maintain data management plans and submittals in accordance with various contracts using the Government's tools.
• Assist in automating data collection activities and working with the Product Teams to store and retrieve data points.
• Work to support configuration and data management audits and reviews.
• Establish/manage the Configuration Change Board (CCB) process for both hardware and software control.
• Review Specifications, Parts Lists, Assembly, Application and Source Control, Vendor Item Drawings for correctness.
• Review CM related SOW and DID language prior to contract award, ensuring accuracy and tailoring as appropriate for program needs.
• Establish and document standard processes and procedures for CM related activities.
• Ensure contractor/vendor compliance with contract requirements. Review contractor CM plans and related processes ensuring contract compliance.
• Partner with Data Management to route CM deliverables and draft contract approval/disapproval letters, ensuring a timely response to the CM related CDRLs.
• Partner with Safety, Production, and Quality Management/Assurance/Engineering (QM/QA/QE) to ensure any changes identified by quality escapes and/or safety are identified and updated via the CCB in the TDP.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.

Education and General experience:

• Working Knowledge and Experience utilizing TopVue.
• A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• 10+ years of relevant experience is required.
• Experience with Windchill CM tool is a plus.

Clearance Requirements: Must have an Active Secret Security Clearance or have the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Required Travel: 10%
