The role involves reviewing original construction plans from early US Navy and National Reactor Testing Station operations, locating and documenting former building sites and utilities, and interpreting civil engineering drawings. The intern will digitize historical materials into EDMS for long-term accessibility and collaborate with the team to verify findings.

The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, bend, operate a computer keyboard or type, handle materials, or reach with hands and arms performing the essential functions of the classification. The duties require sitting for long periods. The employee must occasionally lift 25 pounds.
