Job summary

The Boeing Company in Oklahoma City is seeking a Configuration Management Engineer to join our team and oversee engineering document Configuration Management and Release. You will define requirements, maintain configuration control, and coordinate data management across programs.

Ideal candidates hold a BS in a relevant field and 3+ years in PLM, with CMPRO or similar tools and strong written and spoken communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
• Bachelor’s degree and 3 or more years’ related work experience within Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
• Experience with CMPRO or similar Product Data Management systems and metrics is a plus.
• Experience leading cross functional teams and project management experience.
• Strong communication skills; vocal and written.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Experienced and Career-level Engineers .

Position Responsibilities

Security Clearance Requirement

• This position requires US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret security clearance Post-Start.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement.
• Bachelor’s degree and 3 or more years’ related work experience within Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

• Proficient knowledge of principles, standards, and processes, such as described in ANSI/EIA-649 and/or MIL-HDBK 62, Configuration Management Standard.
• PLM experience; Configuration Management and/or Data Management
• Experience with CMPRO or similar Product Data Management systems and metrics a plus.
• Project management experience
