Job summary

CACI seeks a Configuration Management Drafter to support CM processes by creating and updating documentation, diagrams, schematics, and drawings, and by maintaining the CMDB. The role ensures accuracy, regulatory compliance, and alignment with established standards.

The candidate will collaborate with engineers, document CM information, and participate in audits while contributing to CM procedures and templates. A CS/ CAD background with IT infrastructure awareness is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical drafting, CAD or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of related work experience.
  • TS/SCI w/ poly is required.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and technical drawing tools.
  • Familiarity with configuration management principles and practices.
  • Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and requirements.
  • Experience with document management systems.
  • Basic knowledge of version control concepts.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented Configuration Management Drafter to support our organization’s configuration management processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining technical documentation related to system configurations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established standards.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$75,200-$158,100
