OverviewSCCI is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst II/III to join our team! In this position you will support the Combat System Simulations (CSS) Program. The successful candidate will be responsible for board support, data entry and status accounting of CM related data. This role will assess the state of existing plans, process, and procedures associated with CM tools in the areas of CM Planning, Configuration Identification, Configuration Control, Configuration Status Accounting, and Audits. This is an on-site position located in Dahlgren, VA.SCCI offers a comprehensive and competitive benefits package including Health, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability benefits, 401k with Company Match, time off consisting of 2 weeks of paid vacation, 48 hours of sick/personal leave, and 11 paid Holidays.Responsibilities:Perform Configuration Management/Data Management functions: Planning, Configuration Identification, Configuration Control, Status Accounting, Audits, and Data ManagementPerform meeting secretariat functions: Generate agendas, distribute artifacts for review, track/consolidate comments, accurately capture/distribute highlights/minutes and track action itemsReview/update plans, processes, and procedures associated with the CM functional areas (i.e., Configuration Planning, Configuration Identification, Configuration Control, Configuration Status Accounting, Audits, and Data Management)Participate in technical reviews, integrated product teams, and working groups representing CM effortsEnter and maintain data records and perform database managementTrack documents/changes through a technical review process and consolidate comments for adjudication meetingsMaintain file repositories and workflows in online repositories (such as iPDM, SharePoint, etc.)Ensure the quality and timeliness of all CDRLsGenerate the Monthly Status Report (MSR) and prepare/present In-Process Review (IPR) presentationsPerform Quality Assurance of configuration data to ensure accuracyDevelop and maintain detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and processes for all work performed on taskEssential Skills and Experience:Must be a U.S. Citizen and have an active Secret Security ClearanceHigh school diplomaDemonstratable knowledge of CM principles, methods, and techniquesThree (3) - Five (5) years of previous DoD CM experienceHighly proficient with MS Office tools, primarily MS Word, Excel, and PowerPointAbility to effectively communicate across all organizational levels to include co-workers, managers, government customers, and program sponsorsAbility to multi-task, work well independently and in a team environmentSelf-starter with strong technical skills and attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracyAbility to write clear, logically sequenced, and grammatically correct documentsExcellent oral communication skills; must possess ability and willingness to present technical material to Navy leadership at the 0-6 Flag/SES level (department heads, program office, etc.)Preferred Skills and Experience:Prior change board secretariat experienceJira or Confluence experienceSCCI is committed to providing a comprehensive and competitive benefits package to meet the needs of Employees and their families.
