Job summary

The Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, Inc. in Cambridge, MA, seeks an entry‑level Configuration Analyst to assist in managing configuration items and ensuring traceability throughout project lifecycles.

You will support CM processes, participate in CCB and DRB meetings, and collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure CM alignment with requirements; assist with CM reports and audits. A associate degree is required; a bachelor’s is preferred, and 3–5 years CM experience is noted.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in engineering or related field; bachelor's preferred.
• Experience with configuration management processes and standards.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100 and related documentation standards.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CM tools; able to generate reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development and maintenance of CM processes and procedures.
• Participate in CCB and DRB meetings and provide CM input.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and program management to align CM with requirements.
• Assist in generation of CM reports and metrics.
• Support configuration audits and reviews.
• Assist with release of change objects and monthly deliveries.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements.
