Job summary

SAIC in North Charleston, SC seeks a Configuration Analyst to support NIWC LANT and USCYBERCOM programs. You will help establish and maintain CM processes for hardware, software, documentation, and parts.

You will identify system characteristics, manage change control (ECPs, RFDs, NORs), conduct FCAs and PCAs, and maintain configuration data in DoD systems such as DITPR. Required TS/SCI clearance, BS degree with 5 years experience (or 4 years with degree alternative).

Qualifications

• BS degree or 5 years related experience.
• Understanding basic configuration management principles.
• Experience with CM tools for status accounting and baseline management.
• Knowledge of ECPs, RFDs, and NORs.
• Experience with FCAs and PCAs.
• Familiarity with DoD data management systems like DITPR.

Responsibilities

• Support the CM Lead in establishing and maintaining a CM process for hardware, software, documentation, media, and parts.
• Identify, document, and verify the functional, performance, and physical characteristics of systems and their interfaces.
• Support stakeholders in managing change control processes, including ECPs, RFDs, and NORs.
• Assist the Configuration Management Lead in planning, conducting, and documenting FCAs and PCAs to ensure system compliance and accuracy.
• Manage and maintain hardware and software configuration data using government systems, such as the DoD IT Portfolio Repository (DITPR).
