Job summary

TekStream Solutions is seeking a Configuration Management specialist to support DoD programs by applying CM principles to engineering documentation and program artifacts. You will help maintain baselines, process changes, support CCBs, and ensure documentation compliance with CM standards.

You will review, track, archive, and distribute controlled documents while coordinating with engineering and program teams to ensure timely and accurate CM activities and deliverables.

Qualifications

• 2+ years CM specialist with minimal supervision.
• 1+ years reviewing government documents, briefs, and engineering drawings.
• Experience using CMPRO.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Adobe Acrobat Pro.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% and ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• HS diploma or GED with CM experience or Bachelor's degree with CM experience.

Responsibilities

• Apply Configuration Management principles to engineering documentation and program artifacts.
• Maintain configuration baselines and process engineering changes.
• Support CCBs and ensure CM compliance of program documentation.

Support Department of Defense programs by applying Configuration Management (CM) principles to engineering documentation, technical data, and program artifacts. Assisting with maintaining configuration baselines, processing engineering changes, supporting CCB’s, and ensuring program documentation complies with CM standards. Review, track, archive, and distribute configurate controlled documentation while coordinating with engineering and program teams to ensure timely and accurate execution of CM activities.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience working with minimal supervision as a Configuration Management (CM) specialist
• 1+ years of experience reviewing government documents, briefs, and engineering drawings
• Experience working with Configuration Management Professional (CMPRO)
• Experience working with Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience working with Adobe Acrobat Professional for document assembly and editing
• Ability to travel 10% of the time
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED and 2+ years of experience with CM, or Bachelor's degree and 1+ years of experience with CM

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with Teamcenter
• Experience with engineering or hardware CM
• Knowledge of technical data for the design, operation, and maintenance of complex systems
