Job summary

As a Configuration Engineer, you will share the responsibility of creating, updating, and maintaining all LEPS pricelists. The position will provide an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to learn and develop a strong background of a broad product line, which includes 3500, C175, and 3600 Electric Power products in all regions of the world. You will work closely with our partners in the Large Power Systems Division as well as other organizations within Electric Power. **What you will do:** * Working closely with design engineers responsible for new products, product improvements, and cost reduction activities.* Managing component compatibility.* Initiating, prioritizing, and managing the creating of new pricelists.* Initiating, prioritizing, and managing changes to existing pricelists. **What you will have:** * **Information Capture:** Knowledge of the methods, channels and processes to obtain needed information; ability to identify, capture and document relevant business information in an auditable, organized, understandable and easily retrievable manner. Level Working Knowledge: • Follows defined procedures to document all routine information. • Identifies relevant established standards, policies and practices. • Fulfills routine information capture needs in own area. • Uses automated tools to capture, organize and archive relevant information. • Cites examples of different types of relevant information that need to be captured. * **Standard Operating Procedures:** Knowledge of established standard operating procedures (SOP); ability to design, implement and evaluate standard operating procedures affecting daily and strategic business operations in order to increase operational efficiency.
